Our client is urgently looking for the expertise of a Regional Sales Manager to join their team.
Requirements
- BSc (Science), Food Technology or BCom (Business) qualification
- 6 – 8 years’ experience in commercial or technical sales handling key accounts
- Must be JHB -based with strong knowledge of the region
- Proven sales record with consistent performance
- Entrepreneurial, results-driven, and proactive approach
- Strong communication and goal-setting skills
- Stable career history
Additional Notes
Due to the extensive travel involved, preference will be given to male candidates.

Key Responsibilities:
- Plan fortnightly sales call schedules to ensure a value-added approach.
- Learn and apply client classifications.
- Build market share across all categories.
- Drive and achieve volumes/budget across all categories.
- Build on and research product and industry knowledge.
- Work on promotional activity as per standards.
- Build solid, long-standing client relationships.
- Absolute focus on customer and service.
- Weekly sales reports.
- Proactively look for new business and explore opportunities in the market.
- Provide information on market trends as required.
- Sales administration.
- Establish and manage client account agreements.
- Develop new relationships through field visits.
- Review customer accounts monthly to identify and solve queries and outstanding matters.
- Will lead a team of BSC Graduates
