Job overview:

My client, a leading manufacturer of catering and baking equipment, is looking for an experienced panel wireman to join their team in Bellville. The successful candidate will be responsible to work in the Electrical Department and wire the electrical chassis and control systems according to wire diagrams and samples on all the bakery equipment and repair of electrical problems on all import products.

Responsibilities:

• Work in a team and ensure that the production priorities and schedule are met daily, weekly and monthly.
• Complete Job cards daily after work was done. (Keep record of completed jobs)
• Work according to the factory Production Schedule and priorities.
• Assist to improve flow of material, parts through the system to avoid any bottle necks.
• Assist in improving the BOM and process data and layouts for manufacturing.
• Continuous assessment of BOM and report any differences to the Production Director and Foreman.
• Check all parts received from Stores for specific JN’s according to BOM and sign off for receival.
• Improve quality cost and final inspection and approval of all electrical work done on products.
• Final check and testing / calibration of all equipment electrical work.
• Ensuring you work safe and report incidents and suggestions on what can improve to make the work area safe for all.

Qualifications/Experience

• N4 National Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
• Qualified Electrician – Red Seal.
• Must be able to read and work from Electrical wire diagrams and drawings
• PLC installation and programming an advantage
• Must have own transport
