Our client a cold store company is urgently looking for a Junior Refrigeration Assistant with CAT A Certification to join their team.
Experience & Qualification:
- 1 – 2 years’ experience and should be sufficient working with refrigeration systems
- CAT A certification
- Grade 12 or N3 qualification
Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist with breakdowns
- Assist in maintaining the ammonia plant, oil changes, checking leaks, check and report operation of control on the maintenance system
- Assist in checking valves for suction, liquid, and hot gas line
- Assist in installation of compressors
- Assist in replacing coupling and bearing drives
- Assist in servicing and installation of condensers and evaporators
- Assist in general maintenance: gluing PVC pipes, cleaning filters, washing coils
- Assist with pressure testing
