Our client is looking to employ an Office Manager.  The Office Manager will organize and coordinate administration duties as well as office procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Grade 12
  • Excel skills
  • MS Office Suite skills
  • Proven experience as an Office Manager
  • Knowledge of office management responsibilities, systems, and procedures

Duties:

  • All office management duties will extend across all sites (Head Office, Cold Storage and Johannesburg depots)
  • Ensure smooth running of office
  • Manage a team of Administrative staff, Reception and Cleaning staff by assigning and monitoring tasks
  • Liaising with staff, suppliers, and clients
  • Implementing and maintain procedures and systems
  • Check generators on weekly basis to ensure they are in working order
  • Check both buildings on a weekly basis to identify any maintenance issues
  • Liaise with garden services
  • Assist with stationary request
  • Cellphone account to be sent to Director on a monthly basis
  • Assist with cellphone contract renewals
  • Carry out monthly insurance checks together with Legal team
  • Manage Metrofile process: Retention, Protection, Retrieval, Transfers and Disposal of records
  • Check accuracy of service provider recons
  • Water potplants on a weekly basis
  • Together with IT, provide HR with new starter costs
  • Ensure hand sanitizer is always available at all offices
