Our client needs a Facilitator to join their Pork division. You will be supporting the Pork division.  This position is an administrative based position. Candidate will assist traders in terms of the trading process.  Applicants are invited to apply should they be interested and meet the minimum requirements as set out below.

The position requires a young and self-driven individual who is looking to gain experience in the field of national and international trade.  The individual will be required to facilitate the trade arrangement made between traders and corresponding parties.  This will entail the preparation and conclusion of set out transactions. 

Main duties:

  • Provide administrative support to traders
  • Administer orders and local purchases.
  • Administer internal functions including the update of reports and stock transfers between branches.
  • Facilitate the communication between traders and other parties.
  • Liaise with the transport manger / coordinator to arrange deliveries in the most effective and efficient way.
  • Dealing with transport queries and follow up on freight movement progress.
  • Communicate with customers as well as corresponding parties on deviations in set plans.
  • Facilitate to ensure Etlin delivers the best service to customers.
  • Follow up on queries and solve any discrepancies to ensure correct procedures are maintained.
  • Check GRVs / GIVs received from import agencies and receiving parties.
  • Processing of COS’s.
  • Filing of documents, invoices and all relevant documents.
  • Balancing stock sheets.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A degree or diploma in Business Management, Logistics, Supply Chain, International Trade or relevant studies in these fields is a necessity.
  • Computer literate (Excel and Word essential).
  • Good knowledge of stock lists and the interpretation thereof.
  • Knowledge of the trading function and transport related activities.
  • Good communication, telephone and interpersonal skills.
  • Own reliable transport.
  • Sound administrative knowledge/experience.
  • Willing to work outside of office hours when required.
  • Start as soon as possible.
