This position will be responsible to execute the cold store operations plan, supervise the cold store day-to-day operations by investing in own personal development.

Requirements:

• Grade 12
• NQF Level 5 higher certificate in Supply Chain, Distribution Logistics or Commerce
• 3+ years’ experience in a Supervisor role within the food or cold storage industry

Working conditions:

• Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures
• Working long hours and weekends
• Require handling high volume of picking products
• Clear criminal record

• Understanding of the health and safety act
• Basic technical understanding of equipment (Material handling)
• Understanding of mobile racking
• Understanding of basic maintenance
• Understanding of cold chain procedures and processes
• Excellent leadership skills
• Reporting skills
• MS Office
• Heavy Movement equipment maintenance
• Inventory controls and proper stock management skills
• Picking system and procedure experience
• Safety management skills
• Producing output

Area:  City Deep (Johannesburg)

Salary:  R 16 000 – R 25 000 CTC
