Job Overview

The administrator, provide assistance to the Branch Manager and all admin staff. Handle queries from Debtors and Creditors which can’t be handled by the admin staff.

Areas of Responsibility (Your duties will include but are not limited to)


  • Deal with queries from clients and reconciling of customers’ accounts where necessary for Gauteng and North West.
  • Collect overdue monies and timeously flag overdue accounts to relevant management and staff.
  • Assisting in Credit Notes.
  • Re-invoices for debtors.
  • Issuing of Acknowledgements of dept.


  • People Management.
  • Uniform and PPE orders and issue thereof to staff,
  • Time-Keeping of all admin staff e.g., Tele Sales, GRV Clerk and Admin Controller.
  • Daily, weekly and Monthly reporting including age analysis, reconciliations and processing.

Cash Management.

  • Sign and check daily Cash Recon done by Admin Controller.
  • Sign and check daily Petty Cash done by Admin Controller.

Team Supervision.

  • Be knowledgeable and conversant in all tasks of Administration to enable you to train and supervise your team.
  • Ensure all team members are trained, knowledgeable and conversant in the tasks they are allocated.
  • Supervise and manage the daily effectiveness of the team reporting to you.


  • Support department Managers and co employees.
  • Actively participate as a member of the team.
  • Performing any other task, not specify herein, which from time to time may be assigned by the Manager.

Housekeeping and Safety Standards.

  • Ensures that cleaning and housekeeping standards on equipment and work areas are maintained according to laid down standards and norms.
  • Ensure Personal hygiene standards are maintained.
  • Take reasonable care for own health and safety as well as the health and safety of others.
  • Wear the correct PPE in accordance with the company policy and procedures.
  • No interference or abuse of any health, safety and environmental welfare equipment
  • Keep work areas clean and free from hazards and risks.

Knowledge, skills, and experience required.

Educational Background:

  • Grade 12
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand Afrikaans & English
  • Mathematical Ability
  • Post-Matric certificate and diploma will be to the applicant’s advantage.


  • Minimum previous experience of 2 years in an administration environment.
  • Computer Literacy
  • Knowledge of MS Office and Other IT packages.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Ability to multi-task

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Salary – R 8 000 – R 12 000
